Senior Stars Improvement Professional

 The Senior Stars Improvement Professional develops, implements, and manages processes as part of the Northeast Region Medicare Stars Improvement Program.

The Senior Stars Improvement Professional works via virtual and in-person collaboration with providers to improve Northeast Region Stars performance. The position partners with Corporate partners and the Regional Stars team regarding progress on the market’s performance.

Required Qualifications

Provider engagement/education experienceStrong understanding of CMS Stars, performance measures, HEDIS knowledge and experienceBackground working in quality improvementsComprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPointMust live in NJ, NY, or CTStrong attention to detail and focus on process and qualityExcellent communication skillsAbility to operate under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Care or a related fieldPrior Medicare experienceProgressive experience in the health solutions industryPrior managed care experienceStrategy development and implementationExperience with community and member engagementUnderstanding of metrics, trends and the ability to identify gaps in careProven organizational and prioritization skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments

Work-At-Home Requirements

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership.  (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota.  Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$76,800 - $105,800 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
