Senior Sterile Processing Tech *Evenings*

Under the general supervision of the Ambulatory Surgery Director, the Senior Central Service Technician conducts advanced reprocessing and sterilization services within the OR, SPD and ASC, conducts technical and clinical duties, acts as a resource and guide for correct and effective sterilization technique, interacts directly with surgery staff and physicians, conducting highly detailed sterilization and equipment handling tasks, and turns over room between cases and facilitates transport of patients for discharge as needed.

Senior Sterile Processing Tech at Providence Saint John's Health Ctr-Santa Monica. This is a Full-time position that will work 8-hour Evening Shifts.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association 4 years Instrumentation/sterilization experience in an acute hospital
