**CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Storage Engineer position for our client in Morrisville, NC.** **Location:** Morrisville, NC **Duration:** 12+ months, with possibility of extension **Duties:** As a Senior Storage Engineer for Premier Advanced Technical Support - Storage, you will provide support to enterprise customers by isolating, diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving technical issues related to storage products. You will work with various storage systems, focusing on storage environments with Block, File, and Object storage, as well as NVMe-based systems. You will engage with both customers and internal teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and deliver optimal storage solutions in a timely manner. **Key duties include:** + Providing technical support for enterprise customers on storage-related issues + Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex storage systems including SAN, NAS, and DAS environments + Supporting storage products and systems such as ThinkSystem DE, DM, DG, DS, and other related technologies + Managing configurations, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with volumes, LUNs, replication, deduplication, compression, and more + Engaging with end customers, partners, field engineers, and service support teams + Providing documentation, solutions, and updates related to system configurations and troubleshooting + Supporting high availability, failover, multi-storage node clustering, and RAID setups + Supporting SAN, iSCSI, Fiber Channel, Ethernet, and NVMe environments **Skills:** + Strong knowledge of Storage ONTAP, ONCOMMAND OS, and similar systems + Expertise in block storage, file storage, object storage, and NVMe technologies + Familiarity with storage management tools and protocols, including SANtricity, SVC, CLI, and REST APIs + Proficiency with VMware, vSAN (VASA, VVols), and Linux (RHEL, SuSE) operating systems + Experience with storage technologies such as Deduplication, Compression, Snapshots, Thin Provisioning, and Tiering + Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex storage issues and optimize for performance + Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell scripting) is a plus + Knowledge of Kubernetes and hybrid cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is advantageous **Experience:** + Proven experience in enterprise-level storage support, with a strong understanding of storage solutions (DAS, SAN, NAS) + Demonstrated experience with storage protocols such as Fiber Channel, iSCSI, and NVMe + Experience in implementing and troubleshooting high-availability, failover, and clustering technologies + Experience with storage system configurations, including RAID and DDP groups + Knowledge of cloud-based storage integrations and virtualization environments (VMware, vSAN) + Familiarity with data protection technologies and software-defined storage solutions + Prior experience in working with customers in high-pressure and ambiguous situations is required **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience + Storage certifications such as NCTA, NCDA, or NCIE are preferred **Additional Requirements:** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups + Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment and participate in on-call rotation for weekends and holidays + Strong customer service and technical problem-solving abilities + Willingness to engage in continuous learning and stay up-to-date with storage technology advancements CTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services for this role. **To Apply:** To be considered, please apply directly to this requisition using the link provided.
