Reuters is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding annual sales goals to join our Reuters family and expand our footprint into Singapore and the APAC region.

Selling across Reuters’ extensive award-winning platforms; digital display, native, mobile, video, account-based marketing, custom content, and event sales. The role is primarily responsible for developing, managing and expanding, Reuters' client base which requires the skilled hand both from a business development and a sales perspective.

This role is working with Reuters Professional which is an agile digital and events publishing business in the heart of the world’s largest news organization. About the Role

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you shall be responsible for the following:

Consultative approach: Match solutions to clients' business objectives, including development, thought leadership, lead generation, and engagement.Industry knowledge: Stay up-to-date with market trends, current affairs, technological developments, and industry changes.Collaboration: Work with the Conference Production team to establish target audiences and maximize event success.Client engagement: Conduct high-volume meetings with prospective clients and agencies, presenting Reuters and understanding account strategies and challenges.Research and insight: Present research highlighting Reuters' strengths versus competitors, in conjunction with the research team.Proposal development: Develop proposals with the Integrated Marketing team and Digital Sales Planner, aligning advertiser strategies with Content Marketing and Reuters.com offerings.Revenue targets and planning: Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets, reporting to the Head of APAC, and develop quarterly plans for target accounts and revenue projections.

About You

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager, you should possess the following:

Proven sales success: 15 years of experience selling events and content-led solutions internationally.Passion for news and journalism: A demonstrated interest in the industry.Government relationships: Existing connections across the Pan Asia region.Strong communication skills: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.Collaborative attitude: Ability to work individually and as part of a team.Adaptability and market knowledge: Understanding of the online advertising market, ability to adapt to changes, and articulate solutions to stakeholders.Self-motivation and customer focus: A self-starter with excellent communication skills, focused on delivering results and meeting customer needs.
