Work Location: Fort Belvoir, VA. onsite 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
You must be able to provide Operations Support to the Program Management Office for the development and staffing of all military communications to include strategic outreach, executive communications, internal and external communications and strategic themes and message development.
Serve as Senior Advisor to the O6 Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager. Have operational experience working with the highest echelons of the military as the resident Senior Contractor - Subject Matter Expert in DOD/HQDA military affairs, processes, procedures, and events.
Coordinate crisis communications, public relations, public education efforts and strategic engagements with public and private key stakeholders (e.g., government agencies, DoD organizations, universities, and manufacturers).
Plan and facilitate strategic engagements, conference planning and execution, equipment demonstrations, media outreach events, facilitate public speaking engagements; provide conference, and event planning support as necessary.
Collaborate on strategic plans in assessments, branding strategies, graphics development, website content development, and the creation of executive level briefings and collaterals
You will also recommend performance measures/metrics to improve methods and quality of product or service and suggests changes to increase efficiency. You will be responsible for executive level briefing packages, articles, media, and concept of operations plans in support of an Army Category II, II, and IV Defense Acquisition Project Management Office.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an Active SECRET Security Clearance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Research, Communications, Business, Information Systems, Cost Accounting, or related scientific or technical discipline and 10 years of experience
(10) Ten years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education
Requires at least (5) five years' Senior level military experience; operational experience among the highest echelons of the military in strategic communications, ceremonies, processes, pomp & circumstance, policy.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
