Job Description Summary

The Senior Strategy Consultant, focused on Real Estate sector, will be a significant contributor to the development and growth of our new Strategic Consulting business in Spain. Collaborating directly with the Head of Strategic Consulting, this role involves working closely with clients to develop and implement strategies that maximize the value of their real estate assets, as well as partnering with other service lines to maximize business opportunities throughout the full lifecycle of real estate investments.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Identifying opportunities, presenting strategic recommendations to clients, and managing projects related to, among others:Repurposing, regeneration, and redevelopment of certain areas in major Spanish cities.Addressing large-scale built environment challenges.Advising clients on their portfolio strategy, considering the mix of uses and geographies, demand drivers, stoppers, future investment liquidity, and resilience.Assessing opportunities in specialist markets.Developing business plans and assessing feasibilities for potential investments.Evaluating the use that maximizes the value of an asset.Developing and implementing strategies for the adaptive reuse of properties.Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions as well as positioning C&W as their strategic advisorCollaborating with cross-functional teams (multi service line and multi asset class) to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiativesPreparing detailed reports, presentations, and financial models to support strategic recommendationsStaying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics affecting commercial real estate. Partnering – from business perspective – with Research team, to connect trends and opportunities with the needs of occupiers, investors and their portfoliosSupporting the management of the Key Client Program Spain, through:Organizing and liaising with Key Client LeadsUnderstanding high level strategy, priorities and challenges of each key clientFacilitating the development of tailored solutions to meet the unique requirements of key clients Setting goals and following-up annual plans; monitoring and reporting on key client metrics.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a consulting firm, Big Four, private equity, or similar environments. At least 2 – 3 years of experience focused on the Real Estate sector.Preferably an Architecture degree with Master’s and/or experience in Urban Planning; however, other profiles will also be considered, especially if they bring relevant experience in Strategic ConsultingFluent in Spanish and English.Technical skills including financial modelling, report structuring, and presentation.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools environment.Knowledge of commercial real estate markets and trends, as well as understanding of business drivers and broader economic, social, and technological trends.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Ability to prioritise tasks and produce high-quality deliverables.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the capability to manage different stakeholders.Motivated to face new and diverse challenges.
