About the opportunity
The Enterprise Strategy team drives the delivery of Australia Post’s Post26 enterprise strategy and supports the Business Units on major initiatives, strategy, and planning to deliver organisational transformation. The team develops strategic initiatives, builds strategic capabilities across Australia Post, and provides enterprise leadership through strategic thinking. You will provide support to the development of future Modernisation options, inform the Corporate Plan process, the Post30 Strategy, and Stakeholder Engagement.
What you’ll deliver with us
Supporting the GM of Enterprise Strategy, Chief of Staff and relevant business function to clearly articulate possible Modernisation options, future pathways and key discussion areas Developing and leading program workstreams including analysis planning and timingEngaging with multiple stakeholders across various levels (up to GM and Executive GM) of the organisation to drive strategic outcomes and model various scenarios. This includes engagement with the relevant BU teams, Finance team and Stakeholder teams to develop a pathway forwardSupporting the development of key inputs for leadership reports and working sessions, including papers for the Board, Executive Committee and Strategy ForumsWorking with the Office of the CEO, Enterprise Strategy and Cross-functional teams to develop a compelling case for change for future modernisation options that are supported by a data-driven fact base and insight to support future Modernisation optionsDefining key analysis, pilots, and insights that need to be developedIdentifying critical inputs and assumptions that drive Modernisation outcomes and financial impactsDeveloping a planned approach for modelling the impact and working cross-functionally to ensure financial and operational viabilityAbout you
Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant fieldAbility to frame and structure problems, and undertake quantitative & financial business analysis, extracting insights, particularly in areas of ambiguityAbility to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of attention to detailKnowledge of eCommerce, parcel / postal services, logistics, retail, financial services, government services industry viewed favourably but not essentialStrong written/verbal communication skillsHow we will deliver for you
