Senior Structural Designer Lead
Job Title: Structural Designer Lead Job Description We are seeking a Structural Designer Lead proficient in Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering, design, and construction principles, with experience in Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) considered an advantage. You will work independently on design projects and interface with other disciplines as needed, providing solutions to complex design-related issues. Excellent organizational and time management skills, along with strong interpersonal skills, are essential. Occasional overtime and travel for field or office work may be required, and you may need to work in an industrial plant environment. Responsibilities + Independently manage and execute design projects. + Interface with other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met. + Provide solutions and options to complex design-related issues. + Mentor, lead, train, and motivate employees to produce quality work. + Verify applicable design criteria and ensure compliance with industry standards. + Utilize various CADD software applications according to project requirements. + Thrive in a team working environment and maintain strong interpersonal relationships. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office. + Strong knowledge of engineering, design, and construction principles. + Experience with Autocad or Microstation and Autodesk or Bentley Structural packages. + Proficiency in AVEVA E3D or PDMS software. + Thorough technical knowledge and design practices of civil/structural drawings. + Ability to understand and verify applicable design criteria. + Familiarity with construction industry standards. + Good working technical knowledge of other discipline design requirements and interfaces. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) is a plus. + Strong supervision skills. + Ability to provide solutions to complex design-related issues. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Ability to thrive in a team working environment. + Strong interpersonal skills. Work Environment Work will be in a general office environment operating in a fast-paced setting. Occasionally, you may be required to work in industrial locations where noise levels can be moderate to high. Job sites may contain light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment, and tools. The environment will involve people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking, with varying noise levels including bells, whistles, and alarms. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $135200.00 - $166400.00/yr.
