Senior Structural Engineer
Structural Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to assist our engineering team with maintaining high standards and efficiency. The role involves 2D and 3D drafting on shop and fabrication drawings for material handling systems across various industries. Responsibilities + Perform 2D drafting and 3D design using AutoCAD. + Detail large systems and work with shop and fabrication drawings + Responsible for the structural design, design criteria and code compliance for projects + Uses experience to assist in initial structural layouts and beam sizing + Experienced in estimates for proposal + Understand material specifications for the structure and has a developed understanding of relevant steel codes and building codes + Develops and communicates structural details of connections, and proposes alternate framing solutions to structural systems as required Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Engineering. + Proficiency with AutoCAD. + Experience in 2D drafting and 3D design. + Experience with detailing large systems and shop drawings. + Strong understanding of steel and structural analysis. + Leadership and project management skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
