Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to assist our engineering team with maintaining high standards and efficiency. The role involves 2D and 3D drafting on shop and fabrication drawings for material handling systems across various industries.

ResponsibilitiesPerform 2D drafting and 3D design using AutoCAD.Detail large systems and work with shop and fabrication drawingsResponsible for the structural design, design criteria and code compliance for projectsUses experience to assist in initial structural layouts and beam sizingExperienced in estimates for proposalUnderstand material specifications for the structure and has a developed understanding of relevant steel codes and building codesDevelops and communicates structural details of connections, and proposes alternate framing solutions to structural systems as requiredEssential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Proficiency with AutoCAD.Experience in 2D drafting and 3D design.Experience with detailing large systems and shop drawings.Strong understanding of steel and structural analysis.Leadership and project management skills.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $60.00/hr.
