Job Description

Seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to take on the responsibility of structural engineering design for various building facilities at water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as industrial water facilities projects. The role involves designing concrete, steel, and masonry structures, including the use of ACI 350 for Environmental Structures. A part of your role will also include performing condition assessments of existing structures, preparing construction specifications, and utilizing software like STAAD Pro, RAM, Enercalc for structural design. Coordination with architects and process, mechanical, and electrical engineering staff is crucial.

Work Environment

The selected candidate will report to the Regional Manager or another Management Member depending on their level of experience. The role involves independent work as well as collaborative efforts with a team of 12 engineers and designers. Independent tasks will involve smaller projects such as designing a tank. Support is available at all times.

Work Site

This is a fully remote position. Candidate can be located anywhere throughout the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 4 years of Structural Design Experience of Industrial Building FacilitiesMinimum 1 year of Structural Design Experience of Wastewater Treatment Plants and Water Industrial FacilitiesSTAAD or RISAMathCAD ExperienceFamiliarity with ACI 350 - Design concrete structures utilizing ACI 350 for Environmental StructuresKnowledge of Design of Concrete, Steel, and Masonry structuresProfessional Engineer License
