In the role of Senior Structural Engineer, we'll count on you to: Lead structural design of water and wastewater treatment plants, water resource facilities projects, hydropower/fisheries fields, water containing structures, storm water storage and CSOs, pump stations, fish passages, fish holding and rearing structures, fish hatcheries, water conveying facilities, canals, pipelines, penstocks, intakes, diversion and barrier dam structures, and other water conveying and containment systems and facilitiesBe directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, proposals, interviews, project production, and related issuesSee that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systemImplement, monitor and support company policySelect, train, develop and manage technical personnelServe as a technical expert with recognized authority in structural engineering as it relates to projects; resolve problems of greater scope and complexityPlan and develop projects or design activitiesPlan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and techniciansServe as Project Manager on larger projects, though project management is not sole focus of positionPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringWA State Structural Engineer Licensing (SE) Experience in project management and structural engineering design of water and wastewater treatment plants, water resource facilities projects, hydropower/fisheries fields, water containing structures, storm water storage and CSOs, pump stations, fish passages, fish holding and rearing structures, fish hatcheries, water conveying facilities, canals, pipelines, penstocks, intakes, diversion and barrier dam structures, and other water conveying and containment systems and facilitiesIntimate knowledge of REVIT and Auto CadExperience in related structural Design software’s such as Risa 3D, Risa Foundations, Risa Connections, SAP 2000, Staad Pro, Excel sheets, Tedds, Enercalcs, and more Strong communication and listening skillsAbility to handle multiple assignmentsGood leadership and organizational skills

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringA minimum of 10 years structural engineering experience as it relates to building designProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMicrosoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical softwareExperience in design calculations and layoutsAbility to design and detail in steel, concrete, masonry and woodRequires understanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysisPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
