Senior Structural Engineer

As a Senior Engineer, you will provide consulting engineering services to clients of Buildings Structures in Malaysia. You are required to undertake structural design for major projects and produce drawings and reports in line with structural specifications. You will be involved in small and medium sized projects, as well as being a key member of larger project groups. This will include design, technical documentation, cost estimates, tender submissions, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budget.


The Opportunity

Prepare project reports for clients summarizing key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes. Lead the technical / design input on such projects, ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard Start to involve in project management, relationship management and related business development activities with new and existing clients Hands on structural design for a range of projects with structural design calculations, prepare and review of drawings submitted Participate in BIM coordination to assist to implement the project BIM execution plan and work with structural technicians to produce Revit Models

Is this role right for you?

Advanced Degree or Master’s in civil engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering in Building projects withing a consulting environment. Proven track record of a diverse range of projects such as tall buildings and long-span structures. Proficient or have experience in Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, Programming skills. Able to demonstrate strong design ability and engineering skills and knowledge with proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Able to quickly develop successful client relationships and able to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines is essential
