Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of the Midwest Bridge Department Manager with a focus on highway, railway and transit structures including bridge, culverts and retaining walls. Project types will be diverse and include repair, rehabilitation and new construction for clients such as IDOT, CDOT, WisDOT, Tollway, Metra and CTA.

10+ years progressively responsible relevant experience MS in Civil Engineering – Structures track required Licensed IL SE required Bridge Inspection experience, including NBIS certification, preferred but not required Prior experience with complex projects preferred Knowledge of bridge analysis, design and detailing as it pertains to IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, Metra, and local agencies and applicable design codes such as AASHTO and AREMA Experience with WisDOT preferred but not required Experience with a variety of structural analysis software preferred Experience with FEM preferred but not required Proficient with Bentley’s MicroStation® software required; 3D experience preferred but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise staff engineers and technicians
The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.
