Responsibilities

Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on the analysis, design, and plan production for structural projects and primarily bridge projects.Responsible for design quality and accuracy of engineering plans within desired budget and scope.Serve as a task lead and provide oversight for a wide variety of structural bridge design and associated tasks potentially including geometrics and layout, steel and concrete superstructures, foundations of all types, bridge hydraulics, bridge inspection and load rating, construction engineering, specifications and cost estimates.Makes independent decisions on engineering problems and selects appropriate structural solutions that are cost effective and constructible.Apply theoretical knowledge and technical experience to tackle uncommon and complex structural configurations - mentoring others in the process.Participation in project team meetings and project presentations including presentations to key project stakeholders.
