Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Structural Engineer - Infrastructure, we'll count on you to:

Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in structural engineering as it relates to projects resolve problems of greater scope and complexityPlan and develop projects or design activitiesPlan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and techniciansServe as Project Manager on larger projects, though project management is not sole focus of positionPerform other duties as needed#LI-JF1

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum of 10 years structural engineering experience as it relates to building designProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMicrosoft Office, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar analytical softwareExperience in design calculations and layoutsAbility to design and detail in steel, concrete, masonry and woodRequires understanding of gravity analysis and lateral analysisPrevious experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firmAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Architectural Engineering, Structural emphasis preferredCalifornia Professional Engineer (PE) licenseRevit and Bluebeam experience.Experience in the following Market Sectors and Facilities: Infrastructure Facilities, Water, Wastewater, Drinking Water, Pump Stations, Warehouses, Operations and Maintenance Facilities, Transportation Facilities and supporting structures.

The expected compensation range for this position is $120,000- $170,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
