We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our client's team in Nanterre, Paris on a contract basis. As a Senior Structures Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of steel frame and concrete structures for a major LNG project in Middle East.

Role Overview

Conduct structural calculations and sizing for steel frame and concrete structures. Perform pipe rack calculations and fastener calculations for metal components. Coordinate with other departments and incorporate feedback into designs. Ensure compliance with project procedures and standards. Monitor project developments and communicate updates to the Head of Calculation Section. Maintain technical documentation and reports. Collaborate with neighbouring sectors to control inter-sector interfaces. Follow project schedules and objectives. Ensure quality of documentation produced. Apply best practices and quality assurance procedures. Verify calculation notes and plans. Comply with control and verification codes. Provide technical reporting to the Head of Calculation Section.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Structural and Concrete Calculating Engineer. Knowledge of industrial facilities and sequence of tasks. Ability to apply project procedures and work with project standards, rules, and instructions. Coordination skills for working with designers in neighbouring sectors. Understanding of technical English for reading and understanding technical documents. Ability to follow project schedules and objectives. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with remote teams.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred. Demonstrable experience in structural and concrete calculations. Experience with steel frame sizing, concrete structure sizing, and pipe rack calculations preferred.
