Farnsworth Group is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Structural Engineering Lead & Subject Matter Expert in our Phoenix office to lead our Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) Structural Engineering Team. This senior leadership role will be pivotal in positioning our company for growth by leveraging best practices, training, and scaling efforts across the organization. The AMT Structural Team, under your leadership, will address the complexities of advanced manufacturing projects, build a dedicated AMT Structural team, and support utilization of additional Farnsworth Group resources as needed. Job Activities: + Lead and build the AMT Structural Team in Phoenix and other locations as needed. + Build and manage a dedicated team of AMT subject matter experts. + Develop and implement best practices, training programs, and scaling strategies for growth of AMT Structural Services. + Provide senior leadership oversight and facilitation for the growing multi-discipline Phoenix office. + Foster and enhance the Farnsworth Group culture, integrating various disciplines. + Collaborate with leadership to align team goals with company objectives. + Ensure the successful and quality execution of complex advanced manufacturing projects. + Interfacing with clients, resource planning, project oversight, etc. Specific Requirements include: + Proven record of accomplishment of effective leadership in both large and small company environments + 15+ years of technical structural engineering experience and professional license registration. + Extensive experience in staff development, team building, and mentoring. + Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to make an immediate positive impact. + Positive "get it done" attitude with a focus on achieving results. + Accomplished leader with the ability to build and manage a team effectively. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Enjoys challenges and problem solving in complex situations. Desired Experience: + Background in a variety of advanced manufacturing technology (beyond semi-conductor) client/project and industrial structural engineering. + Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. + Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
