Amentum is seeking a **Senior** **Submarine** **Combat Systems Technician** to support efforts in Groton, CT. This is a full-time position and will allow you to continue providing hands-on support to some of the most sophisticated equipment the navy has. Essential Responsibilities: + Assist with test and evaluation; perform validations/verifications of AN/BYG-1systems + Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI) + Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements + Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise + Interface directly with the on-site customer for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed + Comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures; review change proposals for equipment impacts Minimum Requirements: + Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret Clearance. + Ten (10) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED **OR** Six (6) years practical experience and an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program. + Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, repairing networking equipment and Windows servers and workstations + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Preferred Qualifications: + US Military systems/network experience + AN/BYG-1 Combat Systems Experience **Service Contract Act (SCA) Compensation & Benefits:** This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA).
