Senior Supervisor of Internal Techs - Mid-Atlantic
**Job Description** **Job Title:** Sr. Supervisor of Internal Technicians **Location:** Corporate **Department:** Facilities **Position Summary** : The Sr. Supervisor of Internal Technicians is responsible to provide leadership of many departmental functions including process improvement, performance enhancement, annual budget development, monthly reforecast, and management of departmental functions in manager’s absence. Manages labor utilization, expenses, parts program and administrative activities for their team including required reporting and communication. Collaborates and leads with departmental manager driving strategic initiatives and implementation planning. Oversees 3 Supervisors inclusive of 30 plus field associates. **Principal Duties** : + Drive with manager strategic planning and implementation of cost and service improvement initiatives. Manage key program functions including labor utilization, development and management of labor, expense reimbursement, parts program, communication planning and execution, human resource paperwork, uniform program, and payroll within their respective geographic area. + Establish process and tools to identify issues, trends, and improvement recommendations. Develop improvement opportunities and plans to reach targeted metric benchmarks. + Analyze monthly budget variances and develop plans to address and present to Internal Tech Manager. + Responsible for assisting the development, maintenance, and execution of department parts program in assigned area in excess of $4 million. (in respective geographic area). + Oversee Technician store alignment in assigned area for current and future time frames. Serve as the lead Internal Technician liaison with Store Operations for assigned area. + Oversee quality control survey process for assigned area gaining compliance and reviewing trends with Manager. + Manage service execution within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). Identify opportunities and develop service level improvement and cost effectiveness initiatives that support corporate growth plans. + Assist with the implementation of the change management process as the Facilities organization evolves. Identify opportunities to improve and standardize processes within assigned tech teams. Benchmark industry best practices related to Facilities repair and maintenance as needed. + Assist the Manager of Internal Technicians with collaborating with the Planning and Analysis team to review spend and develop forecast projections for the following month. + Manage fleet program with direct and indirect reports. + Assist with the development and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to reduce cost and improve metric performance. + Develop and oversee the execution of the preventative and scheduled maintenance programs. + Manage personal development for self and team utilizing career development plan, formal review process, and cross training opportunities. + Provide overall direction and support for team and monitor and assess individual work in accordance with high standards of excellence. Provide feedback, coaching, support, opportunities for development, complete performance appraisals, take corrective action when appropriate, and participate in hiring decisions. **Essential Functions:** + Self-motivated.
