Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join the KC-46 Tanker Program team in Everett, Washington supporting a legacy and development program.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.Manages work movement plans.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).More than 10 years of experience in program management within supplier management. More than 10 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

More than 10 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). More than 10 years of experience on an Integrated Product Team (IPT).

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% - 30% of the time.

Summary pay range: $137,700 - $170,100
