Boeing Defense, Space, and Security is seeking Senior Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Proprietary Supply Chain team in Berkeley or Hazelwood, MO!

Position Responsibilities:

The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements.Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectationsManages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performanceLeads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programsDevelops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategiesAnalyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategiesActs as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programsTravel expected to be less than 25%

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years' experience directly with Supplier Management3+ years' experience in a role that required Project Management skills3+ years' experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher preferredExperience in working with cross-functional teams.Experience managing subcontracted efforts and supplier performance throughout the life-cycle.

Travel:

Up to 25% of the time

Summary pay range Senior: $102,850 – $127,050
