Senior Supply Chain Manager, Amazon Global Logistics, Cargo Integrity & Recovery

As a Senior Supply Chain Manager for Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS), you will play a crucial role in upholding financial compliance, cargo integrity, and creating end-to-end visibility in Amazon's inbound supply chain network. Key job responsibilities - Deliver programs and inventory management to support load integrity, security, and improved chain of custody for freight within Amazon's inbound transportation network. - Drive the adoption of Amazon's required security measures and identify the right key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with Amazon's security policies. - Understand the diverse customers within Amazon's supply chain (operations, carriers, selling partners, business units) and develop programs to achieve the goal of scaling best-in-class trailer security across different programs and shipment legs. - Own accountability initiatives to ensure adherence to security requirements. - Increase visibility and accuracy of the chain of custody for shipments inbound to Amazon. - Deliver key initiatives in the short-term (1-12 weeks) and build a strategic roadmap to establish Amazon as an industry leader in cargo security. - Leverage a team to coach selling partners, carriers, and Amazon on best practices, and deliver clear and measurable metrics to track progress and compliance. - Simplify the experience to reduce costs while simultaneously increasing security and documented chain of custody for shipments. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading complex cross-functional programs that impact multiple organizations throughout the entire life cycle. - Developing strategies, guiding teams inside and outside your organization, prioritizing, and ensuring successful delivery. - Defining the program's mission, vision, and objectives, analyzing data, and overseeing reporting to measure progress with metrics. - Understanding business challenges, automation limits, scaling factors, and the reasons behind leadership decisions. - Bridging gaps between teams, processes, and systems to prevent common failure scenarios. - Collaborating with managers and executives to drive critical business initiatives. About the team The Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS) team is part of Global Logistics (Amazon Inbound Transportation) and is focused on creating trust and reducing risks for our customers. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - 5+ years of program or project management experience - 5+ years of supply chain experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.) - Familiarity of SQL - Experience with inventory management Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree - 5+ years of driving process improvements experience - Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc. - 5+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 5+ years of experience in program/project management, with a focus on pricing, transportation, or logistics - If you are not sure that every qualification on the list above describes you exactly, we'd still love to hear from you! The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
