Senior Supply Chain Manager
The Senior Supply Chain Manager plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.

Your Challenge:
Consulting with Engineering and cross-functional teams to providing technical recommendations and solutions to provide key support to the business related to supply chain and product development.
Assisting with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. Working with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies
Fulfill Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements by effectively managing quality assurance documentation. Review supplier Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), control plans and flow diagrams.
Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts.
Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs.
Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory.
As required, provide support on special projects and support the Quality Control group at vendor locations.
Daily interface with other Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers, Quality Department and Production to provide technical Engineering and Supply Chain
What you bring:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to interface with individuals, groups, and diverse cultures.
Strong planning and organizational abilities.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
2-5 years purchasing, supply chain experience ideally gained from an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
A minimum of 2 years Supervisory or Management experience
Advanced knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques, a plus
Working to varied and diverse problems require the identification of issues, that need to be analyzed before selecting solution based on past experiences within area of expertise
Taking ownership and working under minimal direction.
