Job Description The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for driving world-class supply chain execution at the plant level from raw material planning to deliver of finished product to the customer. The Supply Chain Manager is a bridge between production, sales, and the customer. This role will be a key leader in developing strategies, meeting cost objectives, and ensuring on-time delivery. You will also be tasked with mentoring and growing an existing team of professionals across the plant supply chain function. Skills and Requirements -15+ years progressive experience working in a manufacturing production environment with a focus on supply chain management/analysis, materials management, demand planning, procurement, general/strategic sourcing, warehousing or similar experiences. -A proven leader who can quickly establish credibility and respect; working with others in a collaborative and solutions focused manner to achieve win-win outcomes. -Professional maturity and gravitas with a high degree of emotional intelligence. -Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive engagement with direct reports and cross-functional teams. -Strong problem solving, negotiating, solutions orientation and presentation skills. -Ability to recognize and generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they arise. -Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices across multiple industries and environments. Having led a S&OP process is highly desirable. -Professional certifications in supply chain management are strongly preferred, such as APICS or CPIM. Hands on experience, knowledge or certification using or participating in implementation of Oracle and/or SAP ERP systems is highly desired. -Strong knowledge and experience in materials requirements, planning systems, production planning, inventory control, and procurement strategies -Must have a working knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting and cost management. Education -Bachelors degree required, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations or an Engineering discipline.
