Senior Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Every day, our colleagues are challenging what's possible and making headway to innovate new treatment pathways to advance patient outcomes and set new standards of care. **SUMMARY** The primary role of the Senior Supply Chain Planning Specialist is the creation of an optimized constrained supply plan and rough cut capacity plan (RCCP) each month for the medium-term horizon. The supply plan must ensure continuous and efficient supply of finished goods (FG) products to customers, using a minimum amount of inventory to maximize efficiency targets, minimize working capital costs and conserve cash by managing stock levels. This role coordinates seamlessly with Production Site Planners, Inventory Planners, Demand Planners, Marketing, Manufacturing Operations, Global Sourcing, Manufacturing Site level Purchasing and Sourcing. **RESPONSIBILITIES** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. + Ensure that customer requirements are met through monthly supply-demand balancing leadership (i.e., improve service and therefore revenue). + Analyze the supply network to make end-to-end (E2E), trade-off decisions. + Align manufacturing, warehousing and suppliers by creating a supply network plan that provides clarity and alignment across supply-related functions. + Identify capacity constraints and production capabilities to be used in the creation of plans. + Create short and mid-term RCCP to reliably predict inventory and service levels. + Support decision making by defining and analyzing multiple feasible scenarios of supply (including medium-term capacity constraints). + Assess/evaluate financial impacts associated with risks and opportunities. + Support maintenance of current and future supply models. + Optimize cost: reduce write-offs, etc. + Optimize inventory E2E. + Provide consultations to other planners + Oversee, or lead, projects of greater complexity + Other duties may be assigned **DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position. Education + College Degree in related field - advanced degree a plus + APICS certification a plus Experience and Skill Sets + Minimum 5 years supply planning or supply chain experience + Prefer experience with ERP systems and planning software - Oracle ASCP a plus + Strong communication skills - experience dealing with international sites a plus + Sound leadership qualities and demonstrated good judgment + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access skills a plus + Ability to travel up to 20% + Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and with other departments, both written and verbal. Good negotiation and feedback skills **TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED** Ability to utilize a computer, telephone, fax and copy machine as well as other general office equipment.
