You Are:

UST is looking for a Senior Support Engineer (Developer) who will be part of the operations and application maintenance team responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to installation, configuration, performance and functionality.

 

The opportunity:

·       Provide technical support for the healthcare application, addressing user issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring optimal application performance.

·       Work with application development team and DevOps engineers to promote code in higher environments.

·       Assist with planned release activities.

·       Incident Management: Monitor application performance and system s, responding and working along with a team of engineers to resolve incidents in a timely manner.

·       Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity and security of data processed by the application, adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA).

·       Configuration Management: Manage and maintain application configurations, including user roles, permissions, and workflow settings.

·       Analyze events, documentation, requirements and needs to design and develop solutions to solve problems and/or meet organization’s needs.

·       Helps formulate scope and objectives.

·       Utilizes critical analytical and problem-solving skills to arrive at recommendations and proposes solutions.

·       Testing and Validation: Support application updates and patches by conducting testing and validation to ensure continued functionality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

·       Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of application configurations, support processes, and incident resolutions. Ability to design and assist in developing non- standard/custom reports as required

·       Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving application performance, user experience, and support processes.

·       Recommend and implement enhancements.

·       Work with user community in defining and documenting change requests, enhancements, corrections and application fixes as needed.

What you need:

·       Technical skills:

o   Operating systems: Windows, iOS, Android

o   Database:         MS SQL Server

o   Programming Languages:    SQL, Angular, JavaScript

o   Source Code Control:          GitHub

o   CICD:               Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar cube etc.

o   Service Management:          ServiceNow

o   Application Servers: Nodejs

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location:   Remote

Compensation Range:   $72,000-$109,000

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
