Senior Survey Technologist

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Office Survey Technologist to join our client’s team.
Our esteemed client is a global leader in delivering industrial services, primarily catering to sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Power Generation, Process, Environment, and Construction.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Work with the Project Manager and Surveyor to ensure survey methods are followed and project goals are met. Provide office support and create various survey drawings for legal, right of way, topographic, construction layout and engineering surveys. Conduct land title research. Maintain professional and effective communication with clients. Process and analyze field data, including performing survey calculations like traverse and network adjustments, GNSS data processing, etc. Ensure the accuracy of collected data and adherence to established survey procedures. Assist in training new team members. Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
Educational background in Survey/Geomatics (diploma, degree or equivalent work experience) and minimum 5 years of experience in legal surveys. Experience with relevant technologies such as StarNet and Civil 3D is essential. Familiarity with other relevant technologies (Leica Infinity and Microsurvey, TopoDOT) is an asset. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Dependable with technical expertise and attention to detail. Effective in written and verbal communication. Team player with collaboration skills.
