We have a exciting opportunity within our commercial retail team. We are looking for a talented Senior Surveyor to complement our team, you will be specialising in valuing retail and mixed-use properties (shopping centres, retail parks, supermarkets) for a wide range of clients including investors, banks, insurance companies, institutional funds, REITS, public and private companies. 

You will have an eye for detail, be highly numerate and able to work both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines. You will have experience in both Argus Enterprise and Valcap and building complex cash flows and investment scenarios in Excel and Argus Developer.

Responsibilities:

Undertake existing valuation mandates and start to build contacts to attract new businessPrepare valuations and strategic advice to a wide variety of clientsBe able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimum supervisionCoordinate the use of larger teams across the valuation department (UK and Europe)Promote the service line to existing and prospective clientsStart to develop a profile in the marketplace through building key client relationshipsPlay an active role in the development of more junior team membersPrepare valuation reports, in various formats

Skills & Experience:

Approximately 1-3 years post professional qualificationCommercial valuation experience preferredFamiliar with Argus Valuation softwareMRICS qualifiedCompetent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint Analytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and information
