Your mission: Work with a platform team to provide a great user experience through essential and reliable systems.
This position is for you if you are self-sufficient with the ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and interface with customers and users alike. You will work closely with the customer to gather requirements for functional system and infrastructure solutions that solve mission needs and enhance user experience. If you like the chance to work within a small team and personalized customer base with the ability to support mission critical systems, you would like the opportunity on this project.You will excel in this role if you are:A person who enjoys working as a member of an integrated technical teamSelf-motivated with a desire to build new skillsFamiliar with Agile frameworks and methodologiesA forward thinker, enjoy learning new technologies, and interested in growing your careerSkilled in administration of a Windows Linux mixed environmentSkilled in administration of VMWare tools A day in the life consists of:Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systemsManaging and supporting mission critical systems including: Microsoft Domain administration, GPO management, VMware, Cisco Route/Switch, Firewall Management and SaltstackProviding problem identification, diagnosis and resolutionManaging IT systems operation from standard processes to problem identification and resolution for all connected client, server, storage, and networkMonitoring and communicating the operational status of IT systems to customer managementOptimizing system performance, operation, and resource utilizationProviding detailed analysis and feedback to internal customersConfiguring and managing operating systemsConducting/facilitating installs/loads of operating system softwareMaintaining patch sets across a distributed set of nodes, taking into account rolling updates to avoid impacting mission loadMaintaining the integrity of network componentsImplementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performanceWhat technical knowledge we are expecting from you:Strong VMware skills are most desirableWorking with Hardware/Desktop support including Thin Client networking & administration Windows system administration skills (AD, local/group policy, etc.)Active or current TS/SCI Polygraph clearanceWhat experience we are expecting from youMasters/Bachelors + 8 YearsAssociates + 10 YearsHigh School/GED + 12 YearsNo Degree + 15 Years Nice to haveLinux system administration skillsExperience/Knowledge of Cisco/Dell/Juniper Switches and ServersAny networking or cybersecurity experienceAbout us: Experienced advanced analytic development company providing new Cyber solutions to current and emerging missions.
