Summary: The Senior Systems Administrator is the primary contact responsible for complex installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, monitoring, and protection of the infrastructure supporting our restaurant systems. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and known best practices. The Senior System Administrator participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the restaurant teams, ensuring technical processes are deployed in a sustainable and efficient manner. Responsibilities: * Build and maintain an enterprise-wide solutions for multiple operating systems including Red Hat Linux and Windows * Build, maintain, and deploy standardized, current images of various Operating Systems on multiple HW platforms * Use vendor specific management tools to support remote HW platforms * Proactively monitors a production infrastructure environment to ensure continued availability of the systems and services * Provide 3rd level support for the Service Desk and Restaurant Support teams via the resolution of escalated application, operating system, deployment, and hardware issues * Document installation and configuration procedures * Participate in multiple projects in a fast paced environment * Support and monitor highly available solutions * Completes maintenance and support actions for Linux and Microsoft technologies * Develops processes to increase efficiency and automate regular maintenance of support actions * Identifies and resolves problems with the restaurant environment * Assists Infrastructure team with testing and implementation of new software releases * Provides on-call support
