GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyzes highly complex ERP project requirements to determine impact and/or change to ERP system architecture.
• Evaluates need for architecture changes and conducts appropriate cost/benefit analyses.
• Contributes to technical designs for ERP projects, as required.
• Works with senior management to secure approval for ERP system architecture and/or related components that do not adhere to corporate technology standards.
• Ensures successful implementation of ERP system architecture changes and monitors changes for increased system efficiency.
• Works with ERP Systems analysts to address application performance issues.
• Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
• Demonstrates an understanding of not only Worldpay ERP system architecture and implementations, but also ERP system architecture industry standards and best practices.
• Develops, documents and executes thorough technical test plans and protocols to ensure ERP architectural changes are working properly.
• Provides risk identification role.
• Conducts testing that may include use of batch scripts, online processes, databases or interface files.
• Installs changes or enhancements made to ERP system architecture.
• Ensures migrated changes are properly implemented and available.
• Executes upgrade scripts and processes, both at the ERP system/infrastructure and ERP application levels.
• Develops and maintains ERP system-level backup and recovery strategies.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation related to ERP system topography.
• Provides information to educate customers and monitors customer satisfaction.
• Effectively handles demanding or upset customers.
• Understands customers underlying issues and concerns beyond the given. Looks for ways to provide unexpected value to the customer’s situation.
• Proactively determines and resolves potential issues.
• Determines, describes and documents most effective technical approach to define and resolve identified problems.
• Maintains ERP system architecture diagrams, including all related components.
• Develops and recommends new processes, tools and technology that improves ERP system and/or its architecture.
• Handles multiple, highly complex projects from inception to completion.
• Conducts analysis, design and evaluation of ERP architecture capabilities across multiple areas.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with implementing OCI services: Compute VM instances, Object Storage, Networking and Database services.
• Strong understanding of OCI networking components such as Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN), Subnets, Route Tables and Security Lists.
• Experience in OCI security implementations, managing and designing policies, managing Groups and Dynamic Groups.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, shell scripting.
• Enable and monitor audit logs for all OCI resources, ensure compliance with security policies through regular audits.
• Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
• Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
• Ability to understand and apply technical concepts
• Ability to solve problems using learned techniques and tools
• Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
