The Senior System Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and growing Emerson control systems/software and asset Management in Denmark by building a solid pipeline within new markets and strategic industries.
This position will be involved in all phases, from cold canvas to contractual awards and their handover to our project execution organization.
**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Drive project sales of Emerson Control Systems, Software and Solutions to new and existing customers in Denmark – including DeltaV and AspenTech solutions
+ Approach customers with a consultative and value-based approach to understand customer expectations and business drivers and convert these into sales and business results.
+ Work in the core of our Danish sales strategy by building a strong pipeline within new markets and strategic industries
+ Sales ownership from cold canvas, business development to successful contractual negotiations
+ Contribute to a strong team spirit and encourage teamwork to succeed as a team
+ Facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and benefit from an organization with extensive knowledge integral to your success
**Who You Are** :
You are a senior sales professional with extensive experience, particularly in consultative selling and engaging with customers across all organizational levels. You are adept at selling full-scope project solutions, especially automation solutions and industrial software. You have deep knowledge of the industrial market landscape in Denmark and have a strong aptitude for business development, including cold canvassing and pipeline building. You are motivated by leveraging high-level industrial software as a business enabler, self-driven, open-minded, and recognize the importance of teamwork and bringing in the right experts when needed. You are passionately motivated to make an impact, always deliver outstanding work, and act with integrity.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Experience/knowledge from Process and/or Industrial Automation
+ Documented sales expertise from cold canvas to successful contract negotiation
+ Minimum five years of Sales experience or equivalent exposure to automation engineering
+ Experience in Power and Renewables or Pharma/Life Science is seen as a positive asset.
+ Engineering Degree in Automation/Electrical or equivalent experience from the industry.
+ Relevant Product/Application/Solution expertise.
+ Proficient in English written and oral.
