Dine Source is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator with extensive systems engineering expertise and strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have the experience and technical proficiency required to deliver full-spectrum systems administration and engineering services, supporting the planning, design, testing, documentation, implementation, development, and sustainment of IT infrastructure for the OCIO team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Systems Administration: Provide advanced support for the administration and operation of Microsoft Windows Servers and Desktops to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.Active Directory Leadership: Manage complex Active Directory environments, including schema updates, replication, and forest/domain configuration, ensuring security and functionality.Security and Risk Management: Implement and enforce advanced security practices based on Microsoft Best Security Practices, conduct risk assessments, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities.Cloud Administration: Oversee and manage Microsoft Azure Services, including configuration, integration, and optimization for cloud infrastructure.Automation and Scripting: Leverage PowerShell and other scripting tools to streamline administrative tasks and enhance operational efficiency.Domain and Network Services: Manage critical infrastructure services, including DNS, Kerberos authentication, and Group Policy, to support a robust and secure network environment.Certificate Management: Administer Certificates Authority, ensuring proper management of encryption services and digital certificates.Endpoint and Hardware Oversight: Lead the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of IT endpoints and equipment, ensuring reliable access for all users.Escalation Leadership: Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution.Technical Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.IT Project Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices.Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Azure Administrator, or similar are highly desirable.

 

Technical Proficiency:
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, including forest/domain management and advanced troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Services and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and Active Directory management.
• Deep understanding of DNS, Kerberos authentication, Group Policy, and Certificate Authority management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Best Security Practices and risk management.

 

Leadership and Communication Skills:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage competing priorities, and drive results.
