As our newest IT Senior Systems Administrator here at FANUC America, your role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of both the in-house and cloud information systems that support core organizational functions. Your success will be measured by implementing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. You will need to rely on your proven analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. You will directly help drive the server, network, and storage environment to support the whole of FANUC America business. Primary responsibilities will include * Support the day-to-day operational support for network, server, storage, or cloud infrastructures * Configure and support corporate network environment * Configure and support cloud infrastructure * Configure Infrastructure in a coded manner (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform and other similar tools * Provide end-to-end support for Microsoft 365 * Support Zero Trust and other security related hardware/software * Support of virtualization and software * Perform and support software and operating system upgrades on both Microsoft Windows, Linux, & UNIX systems * Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks * Ability to manage projects from end-to-end, manage project timelines and meet deadlines * Willingness to work after hours to complete projects or solve issues * Work with other administrators to drive team initiatives Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent relevant experience * 5+ years of relevant Information Technology experience * Advanced IT network management knowledge * Advanced experience in Cloud Architecture * Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code * Experience with virtualization (i.e. Hyper-V, Citrix Hypervisor, etc.) * Hands-on SAN/NAS experience * Experience with GitHub * Experience with DevOps methodology We offer market competitive pay and benefits programs, as well as opportunities for advancement, knowledge and skill development, and recognition of individual achievements.
