Responsibilities:

In this role you will get to provide technical assistance to the Director of M&S Enterprise Engineering, who is responsible for chairing design reviews, establishing architecture and design standards, managing Enterprise Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and synchronizing M&S across the Agency. What You'll Be Doing:

Performs analyst duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needsDefine requirements and perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and toolsDraft and review technical documentsSupport technical reviewsFacilitate M&S and digital engineering transformation initiativesRepresent Enterprise Engineering in agency tiger teams and working groups

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree and 12+ years of related professional experience OR a Bachelor's degree and 20+ years of related professional experienceActive Secret clearanceA background in at least two of the following:Missile Defense System (MDS) domain experience working in MDA with analysis, test, and systems engineering for one or more elements of the MDS (i.e. Patriot, THAAD, GMD, Sensors, or C2)Experience with definition, design, development, verification and validation, and analysis of M&S (ground test and constructive or distributed virtual simulation of the MDS and its elements and components)Practical experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and other languages typically used for M&S (i.e. MATLAB

Desired Skills:

MS or Ph. D. in applicable field desiredExposure to MDA test events and activities supported by M&S products and servicesCreative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, strategic thinking and out-of-the-box thinkingAbility to work with a diverse team of engineers (geographically diverse) of different perspectives, skillsets and backgroundsAbility to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical and non-MBSE trained peopleAbility to effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical staffAbility to propose and execute project plans that align with gov't customer strategic goals--proposing courses of action based on overarching government goals and objectives.Experience with Lean and Agile principles and development processes.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $130,000/year to $165,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.
