Job Summary: The Senior Systems Analyst assists the Information systems Director with the organizations network, including maintenance, repair and troubleshooting problems. Assist the Information Systems Director with the organizations strategic plan for the Information Systems Department at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center and its related facilities, including identification of needs, system evaluations, implementation, troubleshooting, and integration of products. Support of the Information Systems Department at all levels.Assist the Information Systems Director with maintenance of current documentation supporting hardware inventory and repair, responsible for assisting the Information Systems Director with overseeing and directing the work of all personnel engaged in operating computer systems and peripheral equipment to produce desired records and reports. Responsible for assisting the Information Systems Director with the day-to-day administration of the hospital network systems, Active Directory and Group Policy. Assist the Information Systems Director with Maintaining the integrity and reliability of the network. Provides technical assistance both at the server level and client levels. Responsible for assisting with the NEC PBX system maintenance, upgrades and production.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Services, Business or related field, or equivalent professional and technical school training.
Experience:
Desirable characteristics include at least ten (10) years of IT experience in a hospital or medical environment. Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards independently. Must be able to function effectively under stressful conditions.
