One of our clients in Plano, TX is looking for a Sr. Systems Analyst with the following skills and experience:

The Sr. Systems Analyst will provide expert-level analysis and technical leadership for complex application development projects. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and architects to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze, design, and document system specifications for business solutions, including test plans and implementation strategies.Define system scope, objectives, and workflows based on user requirements.Develop and refine system logic, business rules, and data mappings.Write and execute database queries, work with NoSQL databases, and prepare JSON/XML documents.Modify XML/JSON schemas and configure business rules using Drools.Utilize API clients like Postman or SoapUI to test and analyze RESTful APIs; create basic API specifications when needed.Work with engineering teams and architects to implement microservices-based solutions.Support Agile development processes, including TDD/BDD test automation.Ensure smooth integration of IT systems, considering performance and scalability.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Hands-on experience with:Writing database queries (SQL, NoSQL).Preparing and modifying JSON/XML schemas.Developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices.Using API tools like Postman/SoapUI.TDD/BDD and test automation frameworks.Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in health insurance delivery, claims processing, enrollment processing, or premium billing (preferred but not required-strong technical skills take priority).Familiarity with AWS services or equivalent cloud technologies.Understanding of Agile methodologies and full-stack application development.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
