**Job Description**
BAE Systems is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting an acquisition program for the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications System. The successful candidate will provide program and project management support the Strategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS) Acquisition Programs. This program is designed to extend SACCS systems life and transition into the follow-on system, known as Sentinel ICBM System (formerly Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD))
Our team includes existing staff with extensive expertise in the current Minuteman III weapon system and actively participates in ongoing studies and assessments for future systems updates.Duties will include but not limited to the following:
+ Perform activities associated with network security, log analysis, event correlation.
+ Create custom dashboards and reports.
+ Perform scripting wring with associated languages.
+ Automation of tasks involving security information and event management.
+ Interface between project stakeholders (internal and external).
+ Reporting project status, as requested by government customer.
Potential candidates will validate the abilities to accomplish the following activities while demonstrating strong leadership attributes of a team of subject matter experts accomplishing the same:
+ Demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.
+ Attend internal and external meetings as required to cover both business items and customer requirements.
+ Review and approve all correspondence delivered to customer as deliverable item.
+ Follow all required processes especially the peer review process to ensure quality of products being delivered.
+ Accountable to the Program Manager for tasks/assignments.
+ Shall serve as a focal point for individual tasks/projects.
+ Directly support government leadership and maintain strong customer relationships.
+ Maintain other duties as assigned.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ _BS in Software engineering, computer science, information technologies, data processing with 7 years experience or 5 years with MS._
+ _At least 3 years of progressive technical experience._
+ _Expertise in SolarWinds Security Event Manager (SEM) administration and configuration._
+ _Understanding of log management principles and data normalization._
+ _Knowledge of different system logs from various network devices like firewalls, servers, routers, and applications._
+ _Experience with log collection methods and protocols (Syslog, etc.)._
+ _Ability to create custom correlation rules to identify security threats._
+ _Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Java/C# for automation_
+ _Ability to interpret security alerts and prioritize incidents._
+ _Excellent cognitive, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills._
+ _Active US DoD Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years._
+ _Demonstrated strong leadership skills specifically: setting expectations, managing work, and leading individuals and teams._
+ _Demonstrated self-discipline to plan and prioritize their own work with successful results._
+ _Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)._
+ _Due to its special-access, classified working environment, this position is only located at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, and is not conducive to telework schedules._
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ _Awareness of industry security standards and compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX)._
+ _Experience with threat intelligence feeds and analysis._
+ _Capability to generate meaningful reports and dashboards to visualize security posture_
+ _General knowledge of MS Project, Primavera or other scheduling tools._
+ _General knowledge of requirements management tools._
+ _General knowledge of model-based systems engineering processes._
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
