Senior Systems and Business Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems and Business Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will support various functions including software testing, technical writing, and assisting the Product Owner in JIRA. The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 years of software testing experience and 10 years of related work experience, with a strong background in test plan development, JIRA, and technical writing, particularly in military documentation standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform comprehensive software testing to ensure quality and functionality meet requirements.Develop detailed test plans, including test cases and execution procedures, to ensure complete coverage of software features and functionality.Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage tasks, track issues, and provide updates on software development using JIRA.Develop clear and concise technical documentation, manuals, and reports that comply with military documentation standards.Wear multiple hats, assisting different teams as needed in the testing and documentation process.Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing insights on software performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA degree)

Clearance: Active/Current Secret Clearance  

Experience:

A total of 10 years of related work experience, demonstrating proficiency in systems analysis, software testing, and business analytics, and at least 4 years of software testing experience in a professional setting.Experience with JIRA to manage project tasks and workflows.Strong technical writing experience, particularly understanding military documentation standards and manuals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles.Proficiency in developing test plans and executing test cases.Ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate technical documentation.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Familiarity with military documentation formats and standards.
