We are seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with our engineering teams. We’re looking for people who innovate and love solving hard problems. Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer you will define, develop, and test solutions for the Prime Air Drone.
• Leads interdisciplinary trade studies across subsystems, and other systems in Prime Air to determine drone level architecture
• Executes systems engineering process at the drone level including responsibility for system engineering artifacts including design documentation, interface control documents, requirements used for operational approvals
• Responsible for drone system verification and validation - including participating in hardware and software testing


A day in the life
A typical day for a Senior Systems Engineer could be some combination of working with partner teams to define the system conops and drone design, spending the day in the lab on verification and validation, or writing technical documents to prove the overall safety and reliability of the Prime Air drone.

Our team is responsible for integrating the Drone System across the rest of Prime Air - to seamlessly function with our ground systems and mission planning tools.
