Senior Systems Engineer
+ Lead a multi-disciplinary team in a matrix framework + Demonstrate experience in functional and/or program leadership including technical or IPT leadership + Influence, instruct, guide, and mentor a team of engineers + Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external + Work through Program Managers and IPT leaders to achieve optimum program/functional cost/technical/schedule execution + Support team growth through opportunity identification and Business Development support as required + Supporting business development or bid efforts including technical responses, generation of costs/technical BOEs + Ensure a diverse and inclusive culture of respect and trust + Identify and execute required steps to bring projects to successful closure + Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training (both required and desired): + Bachelors Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required Experience: + 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area + Strong knowledge of and direct experience in systems design/development + Strong familiarity with the systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process + Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques + Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred + Strong understanding of a variety of simulation techniques in support of systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation) + Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred + Strong attention to detail Security: + Must be a US citizen + Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Benefits + Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) + Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) + Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) + Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) + Short Term & Long Term Disability + Training & Development + Wellness Resources
