HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projectsAssists in solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problemsAssists in highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the endAssists in overseeing highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools, Firewalls, SwitchesPerforms highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysisPerforms continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problemsPrepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projectsMaintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processesMay provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience: BA/BS degree and 8+ years of related experience additional years can be considered in lieu of degree

Required Technical Skills:

       Software: scripting (bash, tcsh, Java Script, Python)

       Operating Systems: Linux (must), Windows

       Other Skills: Networking, Firewalls, Switches, Systems Integration, Security (IPSEC), agile experience, GitLab
