NetImpact Strategies is seeking a talented Senior System’s Engineer to support a local military medical center, located in Ft. Sam Houston, TX. This is a 100% on-site role.

 

The ideal candidate will have Advanced knowledge and experience in the enterprise level design and deployment of technologies such as Windows Server Operating Systems (2016,2019, 2022), Storage Area Networks (SAN), VMware vSphere, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix XenServer, Internet Information Services (IIS), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, and Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will have such as DOD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Microsoft Group Policy, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Risk Management Framework (RMF), Splunk, Trellix Endpoint Security System (ESS).  

Responsibilities:

Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-level Windows Server Operating Systems (2016, 2019, 2022), VMware vSphere, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for a healthcare environment.Implement and sustain security solutions adhering to DOD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards.Manage Storage Area Networks (SAN), Citrix XenServer, and Dell Compellent systems, providing advanced support for virtualization and data storage needs.Maintain and optimize Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Group Policy, Microsoft SQL Server, and Internet Information Services (IIS) to support enterprise applications and user management.Utilize tools such as Splunk and Trellix Endpoint Security System (ESS) to monitor system performance, detect vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents to maintain operational integrity. Required

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology15 years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing enterprise level Windows Server and Virtualization solutions from the planning to the sustainment phase in a DOD healthcare environment.
