Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of IT network infrastructures, ensuring secure and efficient operation in new and existing INR facilities.Oversee the installation of servers, crypto equipment, and application systems, coordinating with construction and IT teams to ensure optimal setup and integration.Act as the technical liaison for the Diplomatic Security (DS) Chief Technology Officer (CTO), managing system integration and space allocation within the National Capital Region.Manage the entire lifecycle of information technology infrastructure construction projects, from concept to turnover, ensuring compliance with INR standards and requirements.Coordinate onsite activities with Telecommunications, Wireless and Data Services (TWD), and Desktop Support (DSD) teams to ensure seamless transitions and operational functionality in new spaces.Take charge of overseeing construction by GSA/Contractors for IT infrastructure, ensuring all technical aspects meet INR's strategic goals and operational needs.Facilitate physical moves and setups of IT equipment and systems, ensuring minimal downtime and operational readiness in line with project timelines.Engage in continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance system capabilities and address evolving INR requirements.Perform additional duties as necessary, including ad hoc problem-solving, systems analysis, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.Maintain up-to-date documentation on systems architecture and infrastructure, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity of operations.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree – Information or Computer Systems a plusMust have advanced knowledge in Windows Server, Domain Controllers, FSMO Roles, Organizational Units, DNS, Group Policy, DFS, etc.Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering government systemsDemonstrated experience in systems engineering with a focus on secure network infrastructure within the intelligence or government sectorProven project management skills with the ability to lead complex IT infrastructure initiatives from inception to completionExperience handling multiple projects at onceExperience taking over management of projects at different levels of completionRelevant certifications such as DoD Directive 8570 compliance or equivalent industry-recognized credentialsMust be a U.S. Citizen and possess a TS/SCI security clearance Must be able to pass stringent background checks and maintain the necessary security clearances throughout employment. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.Preferred Qualifications
Networking Certifications a plusCertified Information Security Manager (CISM) a plusProject Management Professional preferredGood working skills in Remedy trouble ticketing and asset management systemPrevious working experience at DoS is desirable, but not required
