Job Description
This position is an opportunity to shape new products from scratch and improve existing ones. The candidate will work closely with customers to develop system concepts, technical requirements, and product specifications. Following this, the candidate oversees systems design throughout the development lifecycle.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop system concepts, technical requirements, and product specifications in collaboration with customers.Oversee systems design from concept to completion throughout the development lifecycle.Provide technical leadership and guidance during the development process.Conduct architecture development, interface definition, system modelling, algorithm development, data analysis, and trade studies.Report progress to management and customer representatives regularly.Support systems integration and customer trial activities.Generate technical requirements and specifications, manage requirements, and ensure compliance traceability.Essential SkillsProficiency in MATLAB.Experience working cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.Strong background in systems design from concept to completion.PCB design experience.Knowledge of radar and sonar technologies.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in architecture development.Proficiency in interface definition and system modelling.Strong skills in algorithm development and data analysis.Capability to conduct trade studies.Ability to provide technical leadership.Experience in progress reporting to management and customers.Skills in systems integration and customer trial support.Expertise in generating technical requirements and specifications.Ability to manage requirements and ensure compliance traceability.Work Environment
The work environment involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. The candidate will work on systems design projects, utilizing technologies such as MATLAB and PCB design, and will engage in regular progress reporting and customer interaction.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $220000.00
