Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Our client in Irvine, CA is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

In this role you will be responsible for the implementation of several features into a designated vehicle. Will be your responsibility to engage with the appropriate stakeholders to agree on feature scope, performance and explore potential implementations. Once the feature has been implemented, you’ll also be responsible for its verification, validation and sign-off.

Communicate with the core stakeholders to identify the required user Stories to be delivered by the system.Derive the appropriate system level requirements (functional and non-functional) to robustly deliver the User Stories.Creation of Simulink functional model for assigned lighting features.Generate architectural level decisions to implement the appropriate solutions.Create and maintain the test cases and corresponding test plans to verify and validate the lighting features asigned to you. 

What You Will Need:

Basics:

5 Systems engineering experience. Model Based System Engineering (experience modeling using Matlab Simulink) - min 5 years experience. Requirements elicitation and management - min 3 years experience. System level validation and verification execution. Salary range: 115k - 157k annual. 

Preferred:

ANSI-C scripting.Python scripting.Socket programming. CANalyzer. CANoe. Develop MATLAB.
