OverviewThis role will diagnose, triage, and escalate reported issues to appropriate teams utilizing in-depth product knowledge. The role will facilitate the resolution for business impacting incidents and service requests, while keeping customer satisfaction as the primary goal. Success as a Systems Engineer depends on strong technical troubleshooting and development skills, strong proactive internal and external communication skills, and initiative.
Responsibilities Experience with wide range of technologies, hosting environments, security landscape and infrastructure. Possesses a well-versed knowledge and detailed understanding of enterprise integration patterns, with tactical experience implementing solutions that adhere to those patterns. Proven enterprise architecture experience working with significant degree of creativity and independence in a highly distributed global computing environment. Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate solutions consisting of multiple products. Proven track record of translating business goals and strategy into a cohesive process. Experience in managing a smooth transition from current architecture to a target architecture. Experience in an IT role requiring effective communication with senior leadership and all relevant functions not limited to product, engineering, security, and infrastructure. Experience delivering architecture solutions in an agile environment and constantly evolve the architecture with changing business needs. Experience in cross-domain IT architecture. Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT tech space. Experience in highly regulated industries and handling sensitive data is a plus. Enter new trouble tickets, escalate existing tickets, and keep users informed of status. Keep procedures and troubleshooting links and tools up to date. Provide guidance to team members on systems-related technologies in the form of consultations, architecture and design proposals, and reviews. Follow existing incident, problem, release, crisis, and change management processes as well as provide feedback to improve said processes. Participate in an on-call rotation, providing 24/7 support for all relevant systems. Experience working in matrixed organization.
