A Senior system Engineer/Teck Lead that is able to provide an excellent service as a technical team lead to manage and maintain all aspects of Army Housing Enterprise System (AHES) project, mainly including server/database management, network management, Information Assurance, SDLC of iOS/Android mobile, and .Net application development, configuration management, which lead to the highest satisfaction rating annually from the customer during tenure. **Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for project task schedules, weekly and monthly status reports, and any ad-hoc reports as necessary. Also participate in the Monthly Program Management Review (PMR) with program management team and customer. Contribute as the primary writer for AHES project side of proposal.
+ Assist necessary software and hardware procurement recommendation to the AHES government program manager as requested/required.
+ Install, setup, configure and maintain 20 Dell R710/720 RAID-5 Servers with Microsoft (MS) Windows 2012 R2 including Active Directory (AD), Domain Controller (DC), and Domain Name System (DNS) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0/6.0; MS SQL Server 2008/2012; MS SharePoint 2010/2013 document center. DoD/DISA mandated security requirements were applied on all settings.
+ Install/configure/manage/maintain DoD Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Information Assurance Tool software suites, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Host Based Security System (HBSS), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), etc. for the AHES environment. Run scheduled IA security scan (ACAS/Nessus and SCAP) to find/mitigate any new vulnerabilities published.
+ Lead the entire life cycle of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) as a system owner representative / key contributor. Primary author of security control set documents/artifacts. Work with variety of agency groups like SCA-V/SCA-R/SCA-A/ISSM/AO/NETCOM/DISA/etc.
+ Solely perform the Certificate of Networthiness (CON) process annually. Create/update necessary documents, execute vulnerability scans (Nessus, Retina, SCAP, Database SRR, etc.), collaborate with agents of the Certification Authority (ACA) team to perform all required audits, including 8500.2 IA controls, generate Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) based on scorecard from ACA, mitigate vulnerabilities found, and report back to Certification Authority Representative (CAR).
+ Manage and maintain the Army Housing Online Services (AHOUS) web application database utilizing MS SQL Server 2008/2012 backend.
+ Provide tier 2 and 3 technical AHES system and application support with multi-layer customers ranged from Army HQDA / IMCOM / Regional / Installation level.
+ Plan/execute current AHES server migration from a traditional server environment into a Microsoft Azure Government Cloud environment. Worked with various agencies like Pentagon JSP/firewall/network team, DoD Netcom, Army ALTESS, etc. to coordinate data transfer, website transfer, etc.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Five (5) plus years of experience in System Engineering
+ Must have a current Secret Clearance
+ Experience with DISA Information Assurance software suites
+ Experience in the Risk Management Framework and DIACAP process
