As an Senior Systems Engineer supporting this customer, you will be responsible for providing program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to the government team lead.
Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support for program management execution of an advanced USN platform program focused on communications and control (C2). Work with program teams to develop program objectives, integrated roadmaps, detailed schedules, and program budgets. Support the development of technical documentation including, but not limited to, statements of work and specifications, leadership briefs, specific engineering briefs related to the subject matter. Analyze manufacturer’s proposals as permitted by law and regulation. Facilitate and provide engineering support throughout the design, integration, and test and execution processes.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Providing program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to the government team lead Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data relating to weapons system acquisition projects Engage with programs to assess performance-to-plan and technical risks Track program/project status and schedules Perform analysis of project status and generate high quality technical reports and presentations Communicate with Government team counterpartsQualifications:
Required:
Knowledge of DoD systems engineering requirements, acquisition policies, and Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Systems (PPBS).BS in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics or physics or equivalent experience.7 years of systems engineering/integration experienceDesired:
Knowledge and capability in planning, management, budgeting, coordinating technical requirements, and contract requirements.3 years of USMC command and control (C2) experience.Clearance Requirements:
